Wishes In My Hands

I am finally done processing this order. If I didn't have to go to work for overtime last night, I have shipped this order yesterday. But it was a mandatory overtime so I have no choice.


And now it is ready to be shipped. I am not sure if the post office is open today, since I haven't tried mailing anything during the weekend, but I will go out to see.

It took me three days to finish this order because I run out of two kinds of ingredients. So I have to palce an order and picked it up yesterday from my supplier's warehouse.

Did you see my friends? There is a technique and ways for everything. But it takes a lot of learning and hard work to make someone trust you to place an order online. But I am getting this much trust from people in and out of Canada and I thank God for everything.

I am so confident that this business will continue to grow. Patience is the key to continue what I have been doing and never stop believing that God is there to grant our wishes, only if we will make it happen.

Everything is in our hands and not just by mere LUCK.

When To Quit Your Job For Business

When I found out that this couple quit their job to concentrate of their chosen business field, I just thought to myself, "That is not a very smart thing to do"..I was kinda skeptical to believe that the business is doing good so they both quit their job for their less than one year business.

If you will make a thorough research on how those SUCCESSFUL business people started their business, you will never believe those people who will say that business is all about LUCK!! Those people who say that money from business happen overnight are foolish. Perhaps LUCK has something to do with being big on business, but LUCK comes along with tons of hard work and dedications.

Any successful business people in this world, work hard for who, what and where they are right now.

Whatever NEW business you may have, needs some investment of MONEY, TIME, EFFORT, and KNOWLEDGE.

MONEY- If you don't have enough money, you might as well stay on your full-time job specially if you have a family.
- Because you will need money to market your products or services to let the world know what your business is all about.
-Business is all about marketing or advertising. Effective marketing needs some financial investment. It may be big or small advertising campaign, but money is needed to make your business grow.
-You will need money because you need to support your family.
-You will need money because your NEW BUSINESS cannot support you and your family financially.
-One, two, three years or even more may not be enough to consider your business strong and big enough to support all your financial needs.

TIME- Your business needs time to build a good reputation before you can consider your business SUCCESSFUL, on whatever field it may be. Building reputation doesn't happen overnight.

EFFORT- You'll need tons of effort to improve your products or services and build a good reputation along the way. You need tons of Efforts everyday of your life. You may even need to sacrifice some part of your life.

KNOWLEDGE- Having a diploma or certificate is not good enough to say that you have enough knowledge on your business. EXPERIENCE in your products and services is a big part of your KNOWLEDGE about your business. EXPERIENCE doesn't happen overnight.

Now tell me, is it worthy to quit my full-time job for my one year old online business?

The trafiic of my webstore and sales have improved a lot. I am spending more and more hours processing orders and answering emails. But this doesn't mean that my business is worthy enough to QUIT MY FULL-TIME job... I am not stupid like them!!

Calendula Body Butter and My Business

I want to make my own Celendula Body Butter for my terrible itchiness. I have use Calendula Herbal directly on my skin and it is one miracle oil. So I thought it would be good to try making a Calendula Body Butter and see if I can sell it on my webstore.

A very simple recipe:
50% Calendula Herbal Oil
50% Cocoa Butter, Aloe Butter and Jojoba Oil
Few drops of Levender and Carrot Seed Essential Oil

I have two orders to shipped tomorrow. I thought I will never received some orders but I finally did. However, I spend the second order to pay for the ingredients to one of my supplier because they require $50.00 minimum order. Now I don't have to get the money from my own pocket for my Calendula Body Butter, and just use the money from the order that I received.

I can't wait to move to the new place so I can start the product viewing campaign. I am also planning of conducting a mini workshop for Mineral Makeup Making this year and see how it goes. Plans for Next Year

Our plan to go to Salvatore's Garden Restaurant in Buffalo was a failure. We travelled together with our CFFL friend and family, but before we reach the USA border, the weather went so bad. So we ended up turning back from the border and just do the shopping in Canada's Factory Outlet.

Well, I am happy to see my kids so happy for the clothes that we bought them. The prices are pretty cheap since it is still Boxing Day Sale in Canada. I also bought one pants for myself because the cheap is very cheap... lols..


Anyway, I will go to Buthurst and Finch today to see is the private office for Business Licensing is open. If not, I will come back some other day when they are open. I am very enthusiast to have everything in place for my business. I thought of paying someone to do the work for me to make my life a little easier.

I also spend few amount from the money that I saved from my blogging and online business for The List of Errors on my website. I will start fixing the errors tomorrow and I hope to start taking picture of my product the next day. I might ask the lady who did the list of errors to fix and replenish all the new pictures of my products. Her price is pretty good so I hope she will give me a better price for the images too.

After everything is okey with my business license, I will start planning when will I print the flyers for the offline marketing of my products. I have to prepare how to entertain some inquiries and interested people who want to see and buy my products offline. I already have some plans for the showing of my products right in our own house, but I have to make everything in place before doing that. And when everything turn out to be what I wanted it to be, I will enroll to an aestetician class for a diploma to start a career in Beauty Cosmetics. And probably conduct a workshop in Mineral Makeup Making by the year 2011 or early 2012 or when I already have the Diploma in Beauty Cosmetics.

With this plans, I have no choice but to continue with my freaking full-time job. I need this job to accomodate the expenses of my family and business. It may not be easy but I know God is there to guide me all the way.

So for those of you who are planning to start a business, hahahahah.. It may sound so easy but if you don't have the passion about what you do, do you think you can continue working on something by getting so small or even nothing in return? Yeah you can do or sell illegal stuff to make money, but how long will it last?

And do you have the dedication to make everything happen? For how long? If money alone is what you are after, for whatever business you want to enter, believe me, money will not come unless you know what you are doing and you know how long you can do it. And after all that everything you have done, God is still the giver of everything that you will and will not receive. Do you have the Faith?

Spending Money For Business

Today we just went to church and go home after. I do most of my work in the middle of the night since I am used to be awake at night due to my work schedule. I am trying not to change my sleeping schedule even if I am on my 2 weeks vacation, because I will have a hard time adjusting to the time when I go back to work. It's realy hard to work on night shift.

Anyway, I did half of the Health Canada Amendments of my product that I will submit soon as I finished it. I will also post the CAS number of each ingredients on my webstore. I am not sure if I can do all the MSDS for each ingredients but I will try my best.

Although it is not on my schedule to organize the filing of my products, but I am glad that I finally did. I just need to finish the Health Canada Amendments and I am ready to start working on the labels, documentation of expenses and sale, and take new images of my products.

In business you have to spend to get something in return. Someone offer me a service to point out all the errors of my webstore for a cheap price. So I might pay her to do this for me. It will be easier for me if someone will just send me the list of errors that I need to fix instead of looking for each page. It will save me more time and do more things before my vacation end.

Funny but when I heard some people talk about their desire to start a business and the kind of business that they want, they sound like everything is easy. Easy to say than done. You got to have the passion on what you do to keep you working even if you're not getting much in return. I am always holding on to my hopes and dreams that someday, I will get what I want. But right now, the most important thing for me is, I simply love what I am doing. Everyday is a learning process!!! Merry Christmas to everyone!!!

Shipping Natural Skin Care Products From Toronto

I am finally done processing this order from my customer in Downtown Toronto. I can't go to the post office now because hubby have the car so, he will be shipping this afternoon.


I run out of one ingredient so I have to order it to my supplier yesterday. I also create a new label and use a new bottle for my skin care products so it took me the whole morning working with the new packaging of my Natural Skin Care. I am finally done with the processing so it is ready to be ship.

My Plans For Next Year

I am so happy to recieve my biggest order since I started this online business. This customer was the one who owned a Beauty Salon whom I went to last week in downtown Toronto, to bring some samples. I promised her that if her order is more than CAD$___ , I will deliver it myself without any shipping fee. And her order is actually double from the minimum amount that I require to give her the free shipping.


I am so happy with the progress of my business. I have so many plans for next year for my business and I really hope that this progress will continue to grow. I spend the last money I saved for some equipment and ingredients that I need for my business. And now I am saving money for the licensing of my business. Few more orders and I will reach the amount that I need for the licensing.

I didn't expect that I will continue to receive orders for this year so I thought of getting the business license next year. Although I didn't have any profit for this business yet, but I really think that I will start to compensate on this business by next year. So it's about time to get a business license.

Once I get my business license, I will start marketing my products OFF the internet, by sending flyers. I will create a small area on my living room as my show area for my products. I have been receiving calls, requests and inquiries from people who are interested to view my products personally. I will open my house for product viewing during the weekend,(by appointment) for those who are interested to see my products personally.

And if this business will continue to grow, I will enroll in Aesthetic or Cosmetology course to get a professional license or diploma- so I can conduct a workshop for Mineral Makeup and Natural Cosmetics making. Hopefully, I can start studying by next year. I really think that there is a good profitable income in conducting workshops.

And on year 2011, I am hoping to open a store or perhaps a beauty salon where I can fully sell my products, to the public. And I am hoping that by that year, I am ready to quit my job and concentrate my time in making my business grow.

Business is not a joke. It require time and hard work to make it happen. It require experties to gain trust. If you don't have the skills and knowledge about your business, you will end up loosing yourself on this business. Web designing is what pushes me to start this business. And Cosmetics have been my passion eversince. Learning the benefits of using Natural products and how to make it, makes me even passionate on what I do.

If you want to start a business, find something that you love doing. Make time to learn and be an expert on this. Customers will ask you every details about your knowledge in your products or services. Why, what, how and where!!. If you don't know the real essense of your business, you will end up loosing a lot of good opportunities.

Shipping Orders With Business Card and Brochures

Business is slow for a couple of weeks now but I am glad to ship two orders today. I got this two orders during the weekend and I will be shipping it later on. Now I have enough money on my paypal to order some of the ingredients, jars and tubes I need for my products.

I am running out of calling card to enclosed on the next order so I will be printing another set of 8 later on. I will be printing this floral business card this time. I am going to make few changes and add few things about my products for better promotion of my business.
I really think enclosing a business card with product brochure in every order is one effective way in promoting the products. This is one way to remind the customer incase they forgot my website address.

Two New Blogs

Here is the printscreen of my two new blogs. I bought these two blogs their own custom domain URL and it will take about a week for the transisition of it's new URL.



One person at work seems to act or pretending that she is not visiting my blog. I will take that at hypocrisy. I don't really care who read my blog. This is a public blog so everyone is welcome. I just hope you can learn something from here instead of raising your eyebrows.

I learned that the keywords for this two new blogs have good potential market so I bought a domain name for both. I am excited to start working on this two new blogs after the transition. Aside from blogging and promoting my own products, I am hoping to make extra income by doing some reviews, PPC and affiliate marketing relevant to my content or product.

Shipping The Order

I am shipping this order in tomorrow. It is so much fun to packed my products nicely. This is my second time enclosing a brochure of my mineral makeup and the first time to enclosed a business card attached on the receipt.

I know that my business is not making that much money but for a new online business, I really think my webstore is doing good. Some ecommerce website take more than a year to receive this much order, and here I am... Processing the order with the amount that I never thought somebody will take the risk of spending online.

Busy and Busier Week Ahead

Yay, I am busy and wil be more busier this coming week. I just finished and posted the 5 colors of Mineral Lipgloss that I have promised to those who have requested for it. It is so fun to create colors and my kids love them. I wish I have the time to create more but I guess these colors are good enough to start with.

After not getting any order for one week, I finally received one big order to process later on so I can ship it on Monday morning. I will use the money to purchases some stuff that I need for my products.

I will be busier this week because I need to prepare samples for all my mineral makeup and skin care products to bring and show to one customer who own a salon in downtown Toronto on Friday. She love my products and she want to sell it on her beauty salon. She actually want to come over to our place, but I said I dont have any store or office for my business. My business is just a new homebase small business. So I just volunteer to come to her place instead.

I am also busy with a new project. It's a print designs papers like brochure, calendar greeting cards. I really think it's a cute product where I can bring out my passion in electronic designing. I will be starting it in a blog, then create another webstore for this product maybe sometime next year.

Oh well, busier than ever but I love the business that I am in.

Custom Design Business Calendars For Customers

I was able to create a Custom Design Calendar for my business. I am planning to send free calendar to all who will order for the month of December.
Aside from this, I will be sending out greeting cards to all who ordered for this year together with this Custom Made Calendar. I am still working on the 12 pages Monthly Calendar to send out to all the Canadians, while this yealrly calendar are for customers outside Canada. I really think it is the best way to Thank everyone for trusting me and at the same time to market my products.

I didn't know how fun it is to create Custom Design Papers. I think I have found a new product that I would like to sell in case I create another webstore. I will continue to regualrly play with the software and create different images, so when I am ready to create another webstore, I have made different images to offer to everyone.

Another Productive Weekend Ahead

I am so happy that the product catalog software of my webstore is now working. I dont have to do the wholesale products catalog manually. I just downloaded it and uploaded it on my store file and ready to be downloaded by anyone from my webstore. The brochures can be downloaded for free and $3.00 for sending it via airmail.

I have to charge $10.00 for dowloading the wholesale price catalog but refundable on the first $50.00 wholesale purchase. The wholesale price catalog is not refundable if send via airmail.

I will be finishing the complete 2 pages of my Mineral Makeup and Natural Skin Care product's brochure so I can start sending email notification to everyone on my list. So I will be busy again this weekend.

If I will not be caught by my laziness this weekend, I will create one lipgloss to observe for the whole week. And if the quality is okey, I willcreate 5 colors and post it on my webstore next weekend and start promoting them. This will be another busy weekend for me.

Still Busy With The Brochure

I wanted to post about the progress of my work in making my own brochure and catalog. But I just want to make a quick message for you Poker Face... I will not quit my job because of you!!! Because I know you will be happy to see me disappear on that place because you'll have more chance to stay longer. Well, I am not going to make you happy for that. I will stay for as long as I needed that job.

After completing the Brochure, I will start working on the Catalog both for regular and wholesale prices. Then I will post the brochure and the products catalog on my webstore, so everyone who is interested may download it for free. However, I wan't to restrict the wholesale prices for my competitors so there will be charges for the Wholesale Price Catalog.

Will Be Busy with Brochures, Greeting Cards and Catalog

I was able to create a simple Thank You Card with my products and Logo on it. So it is a Thank You Card and at the same time a simple product brochure. I am in the process of creating a custom design Brochure and Christmas Greeting Cards to send to all my customers on the first week of December. I hope I will be able to finish creating the Brochures for all my products before the first week of December so I can send it to all my customers together with the Christmas Greeting Card.

I also want to create a simple custom design Brochure with Thank You Note because I want to enclose it to every order. I really think this is a very good marketing strategy.

After this, I will create a simple Products Catalog to be downloaded on my webstore for all those Wholesale, Reselling, and Dropshipping inguiries. The regular pricing catalog is free to download while the wholesale pricing needs to be purchased. I am also thinking of giving a choice to ship the regular and wholesale price catalog for a certain amount plus the shipping cost.

Yay, I have so many paper works to do and I still need to finish the Amendments for Health Canada Notification. I will start doing the Brochures this week.

Anyway, after I ship the order, then I will start the Brochures. I might not be able to do much bloghopping for a while.

Banner and Header From My Genny

Starting a business is not as easy as others may think. But if you are determined to make it succeed, you will do everything to make it all happen. Even if sometimes, I feel like I want to give it up, but everytime I receive an order notification on my email, it just made work harder and do all the necessary things to make my business go to where I want it to be.

Custom made Banners and Headers is one of the important factor on this online business. This will give your business a good impression for everyone who will visit your business website. This is one way to tell your visitors that you are continously working on your business; that you are spending money for this business to create a good impression for everyone.

But due to my loaded schedule working full-time, a housewife and working part-time on my online business, I don't really have the time to do everything that is important for my business. Isn't it so nice to have someone whom you only met on the internet, will be there to help you?

I want to thank one of my online friends, Genny of Wonderful Things In Life for creating a wonderful banner for my webstore. She is still working on the header of my webstore and I can't wait to put it up on my website. When I approach her for help, my brain is fully loaded with so many things and I don't even have any idea on what I want to see on the banner and header of my website. I just leave everything to her since I know her creativity in web designing. When she send the images on my email, I was simply amazed that my empty mind was filled up by her creativity.

I am looking forward working with her on my next project for my business. Brochures and Catalog is one important tools for marketing. Another work that Genny agreed to help me out again. Once again, thanks to Genny. Muaaaahhh!!

Mineral Makeup Kits and Gift Items

I am done posting the Mineral Makeup Kit and Gift Ideas on my webstore. Although I am not yet done with the packaging of the sample kits, but all poly bags have labels on it. I am glad that my daughter help me in putting the labels on each poly bag. All I have to do is fill it up when somebody order.

After I am done with the sample kits, I will start working on the Facial Care Product Kits and Gift Items. I am so amazed with the result of my Facial Skin Care on my skin. My pimples starts to go away and I want to share them to everyone.

I also have created a very simple recipe for Facial Cream. I will observe the quality for a couple of weeks before I post them on my webstore. It is just a simple recipe and doesn't contain any preservative so it will be good for everyone.

I hope that before the end of October, I am done with the Kits for Facial and Body Bath products, so I can offer them as Christmas Gift Items. I am trying to finish them before October because the Search Engine will take time before it can read my website and blog. I hope that by November, it will be up on the Search pages. Hoping For WAHM

I am so happy that my business is starting to recieve some orders again. I recieved orders while I was on vacation and I have another one today. I really hope that orders will keep on coming until it reach my dreams. I will be the happieast person when it happen.

I have to do many things today and cope with all the houesehold chores and some papers works while I was on vacation. But I am so glad that I was able to organized my book keeping files for my business while waiting for our flight at the airport. Good thing that I brought my files with me.

I am saving money that I am receiving for my orders and spend it to some things I needed for my business like insurance, licensing and some equipments I need for my products. I am crossing my fingers and keep praying that this will be the start of the moment that I have been waiting for to be a work at home mom in the near future.

Answered Prayers

Pretty quiet night again at work. I guess this is the power of sincere prayers with the help of my fellow Couple's For Christ. It has been one of my agony to feel that the people that I am always with are hating on me. But it's been almost a month since I felt those hatred. One factor I guess is that, we don't have that much time for some discussion since we have different breaktime schedules now.

Anyway, my webstore's traffic is getting better each week. I hope that it will continue to grow until it dominate the keywords that I am using. My blogs have been a lot of help on promoting my products. I will continue to post contents to best describe and promote my products. I hope that when the worldwide economic crisis is over, my online business already have the place on this business world.

I am trying not to mention anything about my business to anyone at work. Some have been laughing on me already. But I dont care. They dont run my life and I dont like to see myself for another 8 years on that place. I am just thankful that my prayers for peacefulness has been answered.
